To download this interactive Demo, first read the Download Instructions below and then click "Download BJ Software Demo". You will not be asked for your name, e-mail address, or any other information. There is no time limit on how long you may use the Demo. Most of the features in the actual software can be found in the Demo — some features in the Demo have been altered, such as the mix of playing cards (not all the card denominations are available in the Demo), and this is described when you run the Demo.
If you purchase the Blackjack 6•7•8 software (to purchase the software thru this Web site, click Order) after having installed the Demo, you should remove (uninstall) the Demo prior to installing the actual software.
Download Instructions (you may want to print this page for reference). Click on the "Download BJ Software Demo" link below to download the software Demo. The name of the Demo file is "BJ678SetupDemo.exe". Save this file to a directory on your hard-disk (remember the directory where you saved it). Then find the file in the directory where you saved it (you can use Windows' My Computer to locate the file) and double-click on the file name to install the Demo.
Before continuing with the setup, close any programs that are running. Also close/disable your anti-virus checker — right-click on its icon and click disable (or exit). When you reboot your computer (this is the same as restarting your computer), your anti-virus checker will be re-enabled.
Of the 5 buttons on the setup program's initial window, the only button you need to click is No-Questions-Asked Installation. The license agreement will then appear — click Yes, I do to install the software.
After most of the program’s files are installed, a message about installing the Borland Database Engine will appear — click OK. You may get a message that says there is "not enough space, install anyway?". Click Yes since this is an erroneous Borland message (we have no control over this message).
Two "Reboot" buttons will then appear. You should click Reboot now (Reboot means to Restart your computer). To run the Blackjack 6•7•8 software, double-click the software’s desktop icon. Or click Start / Programs and move the mouse to the BJ678 entry and click Blackjack 6·7·8.
