When the Blackjack 6•7•8 software is run, the Main Menu (depicted above) is displayed. The modules shown in the 4 rows are buttons you can click to work with various features. These buttons help to make 6•7•8 more user friendly since you don’t have to navigate through menus to get started.

In the Blackjack Software Main Menu, when you click "Getting Started - how things work here & in casino", you get the above window. People new to blackjack and/or computer novices will find this window very helpful, and many of the items will likely be helpful to all users.

Learn the Basics and how to get the Edge Over the House with the Blackjack 6•7•8® software, Version 2003, a Windows®-based Blackjack software program, for only $39.95! The prior versions were $59.95 from 1999-2003.
The Basics include:
• learning the rules of the game of blackjack
• the fact that different casinos may use different rules, and the same casino may employ different rules at different tables
• learning the Basic Strategy (Basic Strategy refers to Blackjack Playing Strategy), and choosing the basic strategy card which is best for the rules which are in use where you play
Here is what learning the Basics can do for you. The typical blackjack player visits a casino town for 4 days, plays 4 hours per day, bets an average of $25 per hand, and plays in such a way as to give the casino a 2% edge. At 100 hands per hour, this typical player can expect to lose $800 for this trip. This amounts to a loss of $2,400 per year for 3 trips per year. By applying the Basics you can learn in the Blackjack 6•7•8 software, the typical player can expect to cut the expected loss all the way down to only $100 (!) per trip. This is a savings of $700 per trip which amounts to an annual savings of $2,100!!
To get the Edge Over the House, in addition to using the Basics:
• learn how to count cards to know when to modify your Bet
