The new blackjack "Counter Basic Strategy" blackjack strategy card is a unique variation of regular blackjack basic strategy that requires a card counting method (such as the Hi-Lo or K-O) to determine when and by how much to vary your bet with the count. There are no count indexes to memorize. If you count cards and vary your bet with the count (or plan to do so), using the Counter Basic Strategy blackjack strategy card results in winning about 12-20% more money than counting and using "regular" blackjack basic strategy! The Counter Basic Strategy blackjack strategy card has a table showing the Player’s Edge.

It is important to note that using Blackjack "Card Counter" Basic Strategy as your blackjack strategy of choice can provide significant camouflage by causing the casino to think that you may not be a good player, because you would be deviating from regular blackjack basic strategy for about 15 playing decisions, depending on the rules, regardless of the count.

The typical blackjack player is considered to play blackjack strategy (incorrect blackjack strategy, or perhaps, "attempted" blackjack basic strategy) at about a 2% disadvantage.
